Last Monday ACSS went live. After years of development it will finally replace ASGS as security and management system.
If you haven’t ACSS installed or only an 4+ months old installation of ACSS, just download the latest installer from getsetup.alleg.net . You don’t need to uninstall the ASGS version, because ACSS and ASGS can work side by side, in case they have to roll back.
See you in space.
FreeAllegianceZone Release 4 was released today.
Just launch ASGS to update your client.
The German hardware magazine, PC Games Hardware, published a small article about Allegiance in the current issue of 09|2007.
They wrote that Allegiance is no shoot game, where you run around all alone. Yes, Allegiance requires massive team play.
But two things I don’t understand:
A constructer is a pot?
Have you ever seen capital ships in the game? Looks like these guy didn’t.
The German players are well represented.
On December 14th the FAZ team did release a new version of the FreeAllegianceZone Client.
This are the main changes on the code:
- new netcode ( DirectPlay 8 )
- new sound engine ( DirectSound 8 )
This should help new players without change thier router settings play this game.
Pook did shoutdown ASGS at 14:28 UTC for a unknown amount of time…
If you wanna play Allegiance, use the latest FAZ R3 beta client.
ASGS is back online at 16:14 UTC.
