Do I need one of these open? What do I need to do exactly to allow for Alleg? How does this work? :|

Allegiance is using the following ports:

I got no idea how to do it, just because I don't have a US t-mobile contract... ;)

hmmm well, This information doesn't match up. And I got no idea how to find a port much less how to change it. Forget it I guess. I will not have regular internet for a long time to come so I guess this is it for me for some time.

You did much help PKK by showing me the Alleg prots...thank you much. You are also the ONLY one who did respond on 2 forums! ROFL FEEL that luv! :P

I did call T-Mobil and verified that those ports are opened, so it is not the ports.

The T-Mobil phone serves as a modem, and is plugged into USB port into my PC. Because of this, how should I be logging into Alleg? By proxy, IE, etc??

Here is the specific error message, and is given to me when I try logging into the lobby:

ASGS Authentication Failure.

Please restart the game using ASGS.




But, I do use the ASGS. I kept up with the active status of ASGS and it seems to end when enter the game lobby.

What do you think this might be?

It seems like maybe this phone can be used as a proxy. I did change the IE settings to proxy and did change asgs to proxy but it did not work. I have put in call to T-Mobil again and wait for them to call back. It should be working though. I saw in alleg forum that another had same error message.

They called back. seems to be the alleg side of things. I don't know what else to do. Maybe there is nothing that can be done for this. It was worth try, thanks for help PKK.

This sounds familiar but i cant remember what i did atm.

I think i deleted something

Or downloaded Alleg again.

I did uninstal - reinstal the Alleg.

I would not want to delete something wrong, so if you can remember then lemme know! :)

Is this sorted out yet?
Other things i vaguely remember

-IE "Work offline" -> "Work online"
-ASGS -> Connection Port -> DirectPlay
-Deleting ASGSUpdate

I must have just screwed around with the files cause i couldnt find any threads made on this by me.

Hi Shadow - I think I had to open up IE on the phone itself, then connect Alleg from my computer. I think my ISP needed that verification or something like this.
