I think it is called Biltong. I found it quite disgusting when my father brought home some of it. Fresh (cooked) meat is much better.

Salted, sun-dried meat. Dunno if beef jerkey fits that description, I know it as Biltong.

It does indeed fit the description :wink:

We learned the method from the native indians, except they used buffalo :)
