If you installed Allegiance on a non-system drive, your ASGS (build165) will crash when you hit login.
The following work-around works, but only try it, if you have experience.
If not, uninstall allegiance and reinstall it on the system drive.

1. Create a directory (folder) on the system drive and give it a name I called mine "Drive D".

2. Right click on "My Computer" and select manage. Click on Disk Management and right click on the drive your game is on and select "Change drive letter and paths..." Click the "Add" button. Select "Mount in the following empty NTFS folder" and enter the path or use the "Browse" button to find it. Click OK

3. Edit your registry using regedit or another registry editing program and Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Microsoft Games/Allegiance. You will see some folders just open them and look for anything that refers to *Path and change the paths to match the new path. Just right clic on the key you want to change and select "Modify". Type in the correct path keeping the syntax intact I just copied and pasted the new part of the path.

4. You will also have to change the shortcuts to use the new path as well.

Again, do NOT mess in the registry, if you are not familiar with it, you could break important stuff!

Das ganze muss ungefähr so aussehen:

Anleitung von Microsoft:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307889/de
